Twitter Block Cures, Serious and Not

Here's a few more self/public help for overcoming the reluctance to leave Twitter messages:
  • Look for something really good and "retweet" it: copy/paste the tweet, adding the orginator's @Name.
  • Check the news early in the morning and tweet-link a cool news item that will be all over Twitter before the day is out.
  • Think of the most interesting thing you did all week and mention it like it's fresh.
  • Give a quick opinion of a new movie or TV episode.
  • Follow only really dull people so everything you say seems witty next to theirs.
  • Alternately, follow some top-of-the list Twitterists and throw their name into absolutely any kind of sentence. You'll seem cool. Trust me.
  • Enter famous person quotes or "on this day in history" stuff (yea, it seems lame, but if Cali Lewis can get away with it, you can).
But try to avoid, please...
  • Really telling us "what your doing" (keep you hands on the keyboard!)
  • Any mention of "baby poop" (only Molly Wood can get away with that)
  • Telling your story through multiple tweets in close succession
Which brings to mind a blog for another day: Actual uses for Twitter. We'll see...
